“…you’ll be pleased to know a large group from AMP ’11 still communicates on a more-than-daily basis. Collectively, we look back at the program as really shaping the next arc in our careers….”
G. W. Willman, IV, AMP ’11
One of the most valuable aspects of the Accelerated Master’s Program in Systems Engineering is the strong connections formed among the members of the AMP cohort. The friendships and professional networks developed through the program are truly valuable, and they continue after the degree is earned. In addition, AMP alumni often connect with alumni from different years and offer their assistance. We frequently receive messages from alumni asking us to publicize professional opportunities to current students and AMP alumni, and we are always glad when we can help alumni connect with other alumni, individually or at networking events.
AMP Alumni, we applaud your success in achieving your goals! We are seeking alumni who are willing to serve as AMP Ambassadors. As a graduate of the Accelerated Master’s Program in Systems Engineering you are in a great position to encourage prospective students and to help AMP alumni make connections at your company or in your geographic area. A few of the ways you could help are to volunteer to answer prospective students’ questions by phone, email, or over a cup of coffee; be the AMP contact at your company for prospects or alumni; encourage colleagues as they complete the Program; or attend an information event and speak about your experience in the program and its value in enhancing your career. You can specify in what capacity you would like to serve or how much time you can devote to nurturing the AMP Alumni Network. If you’d like to discuss the possibility, have ideas to share, or you are ready to volunteer, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to hearing from you!
